This is the solar system... to scale. The planets are the actual sizes compared to each other. The distances between the planets are not proportional to planet size, they are however proportional to each other. The image itself was easy... the math was not.
NOTE: The Sun is not to scale, If it were it would be nearly 25 times larger than shown here, its furthest edge would be in the same spot thou. The suns corona is not to scale. Planetary Rings are not to scale. I did not include any moons. And damn it I consider Pluto a planet. Measurements are in Astronomical Units (AU) which is equal to 149,598,000 kilometers or the distance between the sun and earth. Had deviant art not had a 10,800px size limit, and if photoshop didn't refuse to save anything over 30,000 px as a jpeg, in its native format this file would have been 103,249px x 2,500 px.
